Things to Come.

I have so much to catch up on. Where do I start?

We had a pretty good holiday, with Gingerbread houses, trips to see lights, decorating the tree, shopoing for toys, etc.

I will miss the palm trees decorated in aluminum foil (he h=in San Diego) when we move next fall. It turns out that we will be spending the next holiday season back where we want to live, in the great Northwest. Mark will be stationed in Everett, as he has to do his last bout tour . No news if he will make retirement, but neither of us will miss the Nave life either way. We have been spending the last days looking at couches, trying to figure out what is best for a 2 year old. Our last one was treated leather, which held up great to spilled drinks and smeared food, but the leather tore like crazy. Ikea surprised us at how well they stood behind their products. They gave us a full refund for both the sofa and the chaise. SO what color is the big issue now. Mustard yellow? Red? Black? Hmmmm.... I really wanted a modern chair in Pepper White Shiny leather, but it seems that stuff just doesn't hold up, and the more expensive leather soaks in stains if you look at it wrong. I will really be excited when we look for the new house...
